Darkness Surrounding is a band from Wuppertal, Germany. They released their debut album ‘Reality Unreal’ in 2021 and several singles and music videos in the following years.

Their first EU tour as support act for The Iron Maidens is completed. Unlike a few weeks ago at the Turock Fest, their performance this time was pleasant to watch. They gave a confident performance with catchy fast riffs, epic melodic parts and groovy breaks. The clean vocals of Kessi and the death grunts of Tim complement these characteristics well. There was certainly a modest applause, definitely a decent opener of this evening  which brought the band many new fans.

Last month they released their new single ‘Lethargy’. If you absolutely loved their performance, you should keep an eye on this band. They are currently finishing the recordings for their second album.

The Iron Maidens, the all-female band based in Los Angeles covers Iron Maiden material from all eras of the band’s career; they are known as The world’s only female tribute band to Iron Maiden.

With 1.4 million followers on Facebook, the band has become a true sensation not only in America but also in Europe. The band members are female professionals with diverse musical backgrounds ranging from orchestras and musical theater to blues and rock. This is not just an Iron Maiden tribute band, it is the female version of Iron Maiden!

The lineup consists of : Kirsten Rosenberg (Bruce Chickinson) – vocals,  Linda McDonald (Nikki McBURRain) – drums, Shani Kimelman (Adriana Smith) – guitar, Nikki Stringfield (Davina Murray) – guitar and Wanda Ortiz (Steph Harris) – bass

They draw full houses during their European tour, last Friday in Enschede was no exception. In addition to a stunning performance by the ladies, the show featured appearances by Maiden-mascot Eddie and the Devil.
