From July 14-16 2016 the cosy and affordable annual metal festival DONG OPEN AIR will be held again in Neukirchen-Vluyn am Niederrhein. Situated just half an hour’s drive across the Dutch-German border at Venlo (NL), in the direction of Moers/ Duisburg and north of Krefeld, this festival is known to attract an international audience from Germany, Belgium and The Netherlands and often far beyond, such as the UK and Austria.
This year’s headliners include the bands Rage and Amorphis on Thursday night, Equilibrium and Bloodbath on Friday while Haggard and Testament close the festivities on Saturday night. Also interesting is that the festival is host to the German Final of the famous Wacken Metal Battle! (Starting on Thursday at 2 p.m.)

With tickets for only €35 and a free campground at a very short walking distance to the stage, good beer at a fair price and a huge tent stage against the weathergods, who can deny this proposition?
