Tom Araya of Slayer celebrated his birthday in Enschede giving a tremendous concert. Because of unforeseen circumstances that we all know, it was a little awkward to experience the show without Dave Lombardo and Jeff Hanneman. As most of you will know, it was confirmed that Lombardo was officially out of Slayer for the third time when in May, drummer Paul Bostaph rejoined the band. The lead guitarist of Exodus, Gary Holt, also joined the band. We received different comments of die-hard fans of Slayer, and for most of them this was one of the best shows of Slayer ever.
Dead Head, thrash metal band from the Netherlands, was the opening act at this sold out gig.
