Day 1 of Metalfest DE with the bands Witchcraft, Equilibrium, Six Feet Under, Paradise Lost & Doro.
Three days of roaring metal at Loreley, Germany with an awesome line-up and good weather. Whereas The Netherlands was covered in rain, Germany was more lucky with sun and considerable warmer temperature.Though, the first day the weathergods thought to taunt us with rain, but! it takes more then 2 showers to take us down !!!
The surroundings are nothing short of amazing, and the line-up a good mix-up of all the different styles of metal.
In short, every metalhead could eat their hearts out and I, like my fellow festival goers didnt't get bored at all.
A Slayer fan myself, I really enjoyed their show, but the acts of bands like Six Feet Under, Grailnights, J.B.O. and Wintersun were really awesome to watch as well. Metalfest am Loreley is really worth visiting and if luck is on my side, you'll see me taking photo's at next years Metalfest.
